QB2003 r2 update does not affect Qxtender's Direct Mode

Intuit released an update patch for QB 2003 the week of March 14. This patch does not modify the data file structure in a way that impacts Qxtender's Direct Mode, and should be applied to your QB 2003 application at your convenience.

There is the potential for Intuit to release an update to QuickBooks that can break Qxtender's Direct Mode functionality, if the new release modifies the QB data structure. This is why we recommend that you turn OFF Automatic Updates in QB and only perform a manual update once you are sure either the release patch does not affect the data structure (as in this case), or until after we release an update to support the new release version (normally 2-4 weeks). Export Mode is not usually affected by update releases, and provides an alternative means should you need it.
