Direct Mode library updated to fix occasional "disk space" errors.
An Online Update is available for Qxtender to fix an error that can occur on systems with RAM memory in excess of 512 MB. In those cases Windows NT, 2000 and XP set the Virtual Memory to 2 GB which causes a problem with the Direct Mode library. When attempting to open an QB data file the following error message is displayed:
Error - Continue?
"System has less than 15MB of disk space available
If any errors occur, this probably the reason.
Click Yes to continue
or No to Quit"
Clicking Yes will not enable access to the data.
To obtain the fix run Qxtender's Online Update utility. The fix is not in the current v1.30 Qxtender installer. It will be in v1.31 and later.
